This story really does highlight the importance of dialling early for an ambulance, when symptoms of a heart attack are present.

Norman Webster initially put off his chest pains as indigestion. Little did he know that he was actually suffering from a severe, life-threatening heart attack. However Mr Webster made the right decision when he decided to call for an ambulance by dialling triple zero (000). This decsion paid off because as soon as Mr Webster arrived in the ambulance bay at Royal North Shore Hospital, he went into cardiac arrest.
