Don’t Ignore The Symptoms of A Heart Attack

imagesABC News reports that Australians should not ignore the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. The Heart Foundation warns that heart attack sufferers often ignore these critical signals with typically fatal results.

The signs and symptoms of a heart heart include “pain, pressure, heaviness or tightness in one or more parts of the upper body – and it’s not just the chest, it can be in the neck, jaw, shoulders or back” (ABC News). Additionally casualties may also have nausea, shortness of breath, dizziness or a cold sweat.

The Heart Foundation recommend that those people suffering these symptoms Dial 000 and call for an ambulance immediately.
