When Does A First Aid Certificate Expire?

A Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) certificate stays valid (current) for three years from date of issue. The date of issue is typically the date of which you completed the training course.

How Long Does An Provide First Aid Certificate Remain Valid (Current)?

A provide First Aid (HLTAID003) certificate remains valid for 3 years from date of issue. To ensure your certificate remains current you should complete a Refresher/Update course before the expiry date.

Are The First Aid Certificates WorkCover Approved?

Yes. The Provide First Aid Course (HLTAID003) and Provide CPR certificates are WorkCover Approved. The certificate you receive will meet the First Aid qualification requirements of most workplaces.

Are The First Aid Certificates Nationally Accredited?

Yes. All our accredited First Aid Courses are nationally accredited under the Australian Qualification Framework system. Our First Aid certificates are issued through Healthcorp, a Registered Training Organisation.

Does The Provide First Aid Course Include The CPR Certificate?

Yes. The Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) course includes the Provide CPR course. Students who successfully complete the course will be issued with the Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment which includes the unit of competence for CPR.

I Need A First Aid Certificate For My Workplace – What Course Do I Need To Complete?

The Provide First Aid course is the industry standard First Aid course that will meet the First Aid qualification requirements of most workplaces. This course is both Nationally Recognised and WorkCover approved.

Does It Matter If I Did My Previous Certificate Through Another Training Provider?

Not at all. All previous nationally recognised First Aid qualifications that are still current (haven’t expired) will be accepted, regardless of the organisation you trained with last.

Does Provide First Aid/ Provide CPR Include The Use Of A Pocket Mask?

Yes, both the Provide CPR and the Provide First Aid (including CPR) contains instruction on how to use a pocket mask and face shield. The Provide First Aid course does meet the entry requirements of the NSW Police Force.

Why Do I Need To Renew My First Aid Certificate?

It is a WorkCover requirement in New South Wales that a workplace first aider must renew their first aid certificate at least every three years to ensure that first aid skills and knowledge are up to date.

My First Aid Certificate Expired On… Can I Still Do An Update (Refresher) Course?

If your looking at doing the standard first aid course Provide First Aid or the stand alone Provide CPR course, this isn’t a problem. When you train with us, there is no pre-course learning requirements for these courses so you can just turn up and attend the face-to-face training regardless of how long ago you did your last course.

For the Child Care  First Aid course, if your certificate has expired you will just need to complete the Full Course which includes a pre-course learning module. We will email you this after you enrol online.

How Do I Receive The Pre-course Learning Module For The Child Care First Aid Full Course?

For Child Care First Aid – Full Course participants, you will receive your online learning module via email once you complete you complete the enrolment form at our website and finalise your course fee payment.

What Is The Venue For My First Aid Course?

We use a number of different venues for our public First Aid training courses. To find the venue of a particular course, select your course on the First Aid course timetable and click ‘Enrol’. The venue details will be listed here.

What Do I Need To Bring To The First Aid Course?

You will need to bring the following to our First Aid courses:
– a form of identification (e.g.- a drivers licence, passport, birth certificate)
– a pen
– your USI

For Child Care First Aid participants:
– your completed online learning completion certificate (Full course students)
– your non-expired First Aid certificate (Update Course students)

When/How Do I Pay For The First Aid Course?

You will need to complete the payment of the course fee prior to the day of the course. You can pay via credit card at our website or direct deposit.

Can I Enrol More Then One Person Into A Course?

Yes you can. On out First Aid course timetable page, click the enrol link of the course of your choice and on the next page select how many participants you wish to enrol.
