Where can I hold my first aid course?
For groups of 5 or more, we offer first aid courses and training that can be delivered both on and offsite. If you’ve got a business or community group, we can come to your premises or venue and deliver the first aid course right there. We offer first aid training to groups in Port Macquarie, Taree, Forster, Kempsey and across the mid north coast of NSW.
Why would I want a first aid course that comes to me?
First aid courses that come to you can offer a range of advantages. This includes the ability to provide a familiar and comfortable learning setting for your group. Onsite first aid courses can also minimise disruption for some businesses. For example, participants don’t have to travel to a different course venue in effect saving time and offering the option of staff returning to work after completing the first aid course.
Where are some of the places you’ve delivered first courses?
To give to an idea on how flexible we are, over the years we’ve delivered first aid courses at workplaces, community halls, people’s homes, swimming pools, air force bases, recycling centres, schools, supermarkets, hotel rooms, factories, gyms, police stations and even an avacado farm, just to name a few. Don’t tell anyone, but the trainer got lost on the farm trying to find the venue (it was a shed!).
What type of facilities do I need to hold a first aid course?
The main requirement to hold a first aid course is a learning space that comfortably accommodates your participants. This space should be an appropriate size to meet the number of participants with ideally good lighting, ventilation and temperature for your participant’s comfort. It should have sufficient chairs (and tables) with electrical supply to power our equipment.
What if my venue isn’t right to hold a first aid course?
No problems. We also offer the option of delivering your first aid course and training offsite. If you don’t have a venue that you think is suitable, perhaps it’s too small for your larger group, maybe your venue is too noisy or dusty or maybe it would cause too much interruption to your business holding it onsite, then we can deliver organise a venue that will meet your needs. Just let us know where you’d like to run the course and we will do the rest.
I don’t have an large enough group for a group booking, what can I do?
No problems. We also offer regular, public first aid courses that are held in Port Macquarie and Taree. With these courses, you can have one or more participants attend and complete the course that way. This is a great option for businesses that can’t afford to have all their staff completing their first aid training at one time.
What first aid courses can I organise?
We offer a range of first aid courses which you can organise to be delivered to your group. Our popular Provide First Aid course is a nationally recognised course that meets the workplace first aid training requirements of most businesses. We also offer the Child Care First Aid and the standalone Provide CPR course for this groups needing just CPR training. For the Child Care industry we also offer the Child Care First Aid course. We also deliver a range of other first aid courses including the First Aid for Parents course which is especially great for new or expecting parents.
