A number of National Rugby League players have supported the call for CPR and First Aid to be taught in schools. The Daily Telegraph has spoken to players from across different league clubs, who all recognised the importance of having the life saving skills. Manly Sea Eagles hooker Matt Ballin, who has taken CPR courses in the past, said such skills were essential. “I’ve never had to use it, and hope I never do, but knowing CPR gives me peace of mind. I’d recommend it to anyone” commented Ballin.
